The Clinical Society of Queens & Long Island was incorporated in May 2003. The organization is a local affiliate of the National Medical Association. The group is comprised of African American and other minority group physicians who provide health care in the Queens and Western Nassau vicinity.

Since its inception the physicians of CSQLI have lectured to the community at various venues on topics that impacts on the communities well being. The physicians have actively been giving back to the community through :

1) a Summer Mentorship Program for High School students with an interest in the health sciences
2) a newly structured Scholarship Program for Senior high school students and college students

The highlight of the year is the Annual Fundraiser Dinner Dance whereby proceeds are directed to the sponsored programs and other private charities.
